The Second News

Our medical team has successfully completed a recent study on treating pulsatile venous tinnitus, and the findings were published in a respected scientific journal. Polymethyl methacrylate proved effective in managing pulsatile tinnitus arising from sigmoid sinus diverticulum, emissary vein widening, and jugular bulb diverticulum and dehiscence. Overall, this local advancement surpasses global benchmarks and represents a promising direction in the treatment of venous-origin pulsatile tinnitus.

In addition to the published results, our team observed that the use of polymethyl methacrylate was associated with a treatment success rate exceeding 90%—a figure not included in the published data—which is notably higher than the widely reported global rate of approximately 86%. Patients also demonstrated a marked improvement in their quality of life following the procedure
