The first news
Our medical team has successfully managed a wide range of Eustachian tube disorders, including narrowing, dilation, and complete obstruction.
1-In cases of narrowing:
The team utilized balloon dilation to widen the Eustachian tube, resulting in notable improvement in tube function.
2-In cases of dilation:
Treatment involved the use of stents of various sizes to stabilize the tube and restore its normal structure.
For patients who showed resistance to stents or developed sensitivity to them, the team employed advanced interventions such as Eustachian tube closure via the middle ear as an alternative approach.
In selected cases, filler materials—such as hyaluronic acid, hydroxyapatite, or autologous fat—were injected around the tube to support and regulate its pathway.
A study conducted on more than 100 cases demonstrated that these advanced interventions achieved promising outcomes comparable to international standards, particularly with the use of multi-sized stents tailored to each case.
In cases of complete Eustachian tube obstruction:
The team used laser techniques to precisely reopen the tube, followed by balloon dilation and the placement of stents to ensure long-term patency and prevent re-closure. The results were highly encouraging and reflect significant progress in this specialized field of treatment.
